The parts in which computers are made of is known as
components of computer.
There are three main components of computer; they are as
follows:

Hardware component and
2.
Software component
3.
Human/people ware
THE
COMPUTER HARDWARE
The Computer Hardware is the part of computer which can be seen
and also be handled by the user.

Input device(eg. Mouse, Keyboard, Light Pen,
Joystick, etc)
3.
Output device(eg. Monitor, Projector, Speaker,
Printer, Etc) and

of the computer. It is also know “SU”

The system

Input device
is a device that can be used o send instructions or command into the computer
Examples of
input device are mouse, keyboard, joystick, etc as mentioned above
The computer
software:
This refers
to the set of instructions installed inside the computer hardware which helps
the computer to function. It is also set of information or data that helps the
computer to run in a specific manna.
1.
System
software: the system
software, manages and co-ordinate other software in the computer. The system
software cannot be edited or renamed. The perfect example of system soft ware
is the Operating System (OS).
The
system software is the first that is installed in the computer before the
application software.
2.
Application
Software: These are
computer programs that are used to perform a special task like typing and formatting
of text documents (word processing), database management system, graphic,
scientific or other specialized functions
Examples
of Application software are:
i.
Ms
Word, Ms Excel, CorelDraw, PageMaker, Photoshop, Etc
3.
Malicious
software: this is an
exploitative code designed by criminal or hackers to destroy or damage the normal
function of computer thereby causing the computer to malfunction. It is also
known as Malware.
Malware scripts are delivered to the computer as viruses,
trojans, rootkits, keyloggers, worms, or through email and websites as adware,
spyware, ransomware and scareware.
4.
Programming
ware: these are tools
used by the programmers to develop all kinds of software like window, OS, word
processing etc.
